Here you will find our coverage of the Wednesday March 1st, 2023 Work Session Board Meeting 4:00pm.

It is important to note that this Board Meeting Work Session was the Meeting that they voted on whether or not to revert the public comment format to the way it was before they started cutting the public commenter’s video feed.

We have split each portion of the coverage into sections for each portion of the meeting.

(Admin Pro Reader Tip:) If the Embedded rumble videos do not load when reading the article you may try refreshing the page to get the video to load, alternatively you may click the link directly to the left of the download button for each segment if you still have issues with the rumble videos. Lola Express – Steam Roller Sideshow

This is the First Official CCSD (Lola Express) Work Session Board Meeting after the time was changed to 4:00pm on the first Wednesday of every month, last February.

As usual the meeting started out with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag

The C.C.S.D. (The Lola Express) Meeting then segue’s into the Motion to adopt the agenda as presented.

Up next we have agenda item 2.01 Community Engagement.

Following agenda Item 2.01

we have Agenda item 2.02 – Board committee reports.

Following Agenda Item 2.02 we have public comment on Agenda Item 2.02

Next up we have Agenda Item 2.03 Motion to reconsider Item 3.25 from the August 11th, 2022 CCSD Board Meeting.

This is where the meeting starts to get interesting. I must admit at first i was hopeful that there was a possibility that they would revert the public comment format to the way it used to be. I Would like to also point out that it was Lisa Guzman who presented the motion to reconsider. As her vote of nay on agenda Item 3.25 from the August 11th, 2022 Board meeting makes her one of the only board members if not the only board member who can bring a motion of reconsideration on that item. For that i would like to commend her for representing the people.

Next we have all of the public comment regarding the motion to revisit Agenda Item 3.25 from the August 11th, 2022 CCSD, I mean Lola Express Board Meeting

If one thing is clear from how the public feels about revisiting Agenda Item 3.25 it is this. The vast majority of the public comment agree that the public comment should be reverted to the format that it used to be. I cannot imagine a valid reason for hiding the public’s faces from the public comment section on the CCSD Live feed. I am just glad i had the foresight to cover this meeting as what i caught on camera after the public comment during the vote on this item could not be more priceless. At the very least we witnessed highly questionable actions and improper use of the Electronic Voting System by Board President Evelyn Garcia Morales. And at the most Possible Collusion by at least 2 board members to fix the vote. That being said i will touch more on that aspect of this meeting after we get through the public comment for this item below.

Next up we have Lola Brook’s Final Words on Item 2.03

Lola Brook’s Final Words on Item 2.03

It wouldn’t be so insulting to the public if they hadn’t made it so obvious they had already made up their mind on the public comment format.

Here is a direct quote from Lola Brooks from Her Final words on item 2.03

“This Public Comment Policy is either really good at maintaining potential volatile situations, or President Garcia Morales is the best president in the history of CCSD, and you know what it could be both.”

Lola Brooks, CCSD Board of Trustees Work Session March 1st, 2023

The fact that Lola decided to gaslight the public in such a way and take credit for the success of the policy in such an unjustified way clearly shows her disdain for the people in my opinion.

And following Lola’s final words we have the Alleged Motion to vote on Item 2.03 you will see why i say Alleged after you see this Motion to vote below.

Alleged Motion to vote on Item 2.03

It should be noted what we captured on camera here should be analyzed and looked at for a number of reasons i will get into after we get through this Segment on the Alleged Motion to vote on Item 2.03

First i would like to point out that Trustee’s Brenda Zamora, Linda Cavazos, and Lisa Guzman

stood by their morals and upheld their positions on this item by maintaining their integrity and voting yes. I Cannot say the same for the other board members who voted nay. At this point the only Trustees i have any faith in at this point in any capacity are Trustees Brenda Zamora, Linda Cavazos, and Lisa Guzman.

Lets get into the nitty gritty of why i suspect this was a vote fix.

  1. Look at time code 02:33 (2 Minutes and 33 Seconds) of the Motion to vote Segment above. You can clearly hear President Garcia Morales say “Motion did not pass!”
  2. The Body language of Trustee Lola Brooks, and President Garcia Morales at the very least is indicative of improper conduct during a board vote. And at the very most possible collusion by the Board members Garcia Morales and Lola Brook’s to fix the vote.
  3. The fact that both times they tried to hold the vote via the Electronic Voting System on the Dias they clearly didn’t know what they were doing. It is very blatantly evident by President Garcia Morales statement about “Multitasking” that she was in charge of casting the vote for Board Members not present. i.e. Katie Williams. & Irene Bustamante Adams, Via the Electronic Voting System on the Dias. So Lola’s claim of a glitch is nothing more than Misdirection. It was no “glitch”. Clearly she was trying to do too much at once and screwed up. She even said as much in her explanation to their Council.
  4. Why was the audio feed cutting out for their council and the Live feed? It seems highly questionable and unlikely that the audio feed would be cutting out because of a glitch clearly they are cutting the audio even from their own council. So that begs, the question what are they hiding?
  5. If they are indeed colluding i do hope both Trustee’s Garcia Morales & Lola Brooks realize that Jara is going to throw them under the bus to save himself. Considering how obviously bad they are at hiding their tracks. This must be their very first time colluding and committing a RICO Violation. Aw how sweet! NOT ROFL.

Next up we have Agenda Item 3.01

Clearly as we can see the public does not trust the Board. and with good reason.

It is so blatantly obvious i think to those of the public that provided their voice at public comment during this meeting as well as to all those who attended. In my humble opinion from what i have witnessed. They like to talk a lot about equity and equal rights and diversity but what they are actually doing is using that as a cover to cover up at the very least their own conflicts of interest and impropriety, and at the very most using it as a cover to cover up their own criminal activity. However i ask you the public to make up your own mind. with that being said we move on to our Final Words by the board on Nevada Reading Week.

And finally the motion to adjourn.
